(Frank) YOU NBC for not showing the Blues game on any of your other 3 channels and telling us "we'll get you out to that game after overtime ends"...

If the Blues could get a bounce...

The Kings have got their fair share the last 3 games. Decent first for the Blues, minus the score.

CNBC's graphic during the first period pretty much sums the series up...Stewart 0 goals, Berglund 1 goal, Peron 0 goals. When your top 3 of the regular season disappear, it's no wonder why we trail. Your best players have to be your best players, i.e. score goals, and they haven't.

Blues dominate 2 periods of hockey. Trail 2-1. Frustrating that game after game of this series has gone this way.

Nothing left to say about this season. This was supposed to be a year of improvement, and instead the franchise took a major step backwards. Changes must be made, on and off of the ice.

We came to the fight, we fought and we didn't get swept. Alot more to say than the Canucks.

One thing everyone has to keep in mind is how many times this team's front office has screwed them over; name a team in the NHL who didn't send anyone to the draft for a year, or when the barn was chain-locked and a 13th hour deal to sell the team was made. With all of the setbacks historically, the fact we can skate on the ice and compete at this point and time and have been able to do so for long stretches shows that there is something special about the Bluenote. No one owner has had them long enough OR INVESTED ENOUGH INTO IT to make it work out. We saw what the Lauries could do in a short span of time and it made us powerful. This team isn't built on money but time and training and IF THE OWNERSHIP CAN STAY CONSISTENT AND FIELD A TEAM THAT IS OUT TO WIN THE CUP, NOT JUST COMPETE then the Lord Stanley will pay a visit to the Arch. That's meant to be. The question is when.

Anyone who wants to hang their head, think of the Kings we just played and how long their wait was to earn the Cup, and they didn't have half of the issues that we had. We talk about having Brett Hull and how he was the best, they had Gretzky and they couldn't win. I'm proud of our team and the bright future ahead. You all see this as a loss. I see it as the beginning.

Dave Checketts was right and wrong in something he said when he owned the blues, he said it was a five-year plan, which I now believe he is right about, but he was dead wrong about when it started; it just started. We saw the beginning of it and the difference is clearly visible. Ownership has to Stay the Course or we'll be back at this point with new owners and dumping players, making dumb trades or pinching pennies in a few years. That's the only true fear a fan at this point should have. That's what's been destroying us and making things monotonous.

These Blues, I am proud of. And the best is yet to come.

Tough, tough loss. No way I thought after Jackman's goal in Game 2 would that be the last time we would be celebrating. The Blues had a 3-1 series lead in their grasp in Game 4. A 2 goal lead blown, and back to back goals in the 3rd to blow another lead...the Blues were never the same in the series.

They fought tooth and nails in every game which was a better improvement over last years (obviously). The Blues were an up and down team all year. I wouldn't say it was a major step back. But you have to wonder at this point if the team has reached their ceiling with this core. Of course, we've got Jaskin, Rattie, and a full year of Senko and Schwartz coming.

I've enjoyed watching the CPR line, but your 4th line can't be the ONLY line that brings it every game for the final month of the season. Those guys brought it every night. Whether the Blues were playing well or crappy, they were the one consistent line. You won't make it very far if that's the case.

If I recall, this is the first time the Blues have lost a series when they were up 2-0. I'm just completely gutted after that series. It was so close in so many ways. The Blues could have swept the series. Or been swept. Or won any of the final 4 games to push the series to the brink. So many missed opportunities. But they fought balls to the wall every game and that makes me proud as a fan.

This time the Blues competed. Yes, they could not finish, but Quick was outstanding throughout this series. The Kings last three game-winning goals all deflected off Blues players on the way to the net, which completely screws the goaltender.

Bring in Rattie and Jaskin next season and let them play along with getting Tarasenko consistent ice time. It's time for Stewart to go somewhere else and A Mac to retire.

Can someone remind me why the Blues burned a year on Jaskin already for about 4 minutes of ice time in the regular season?

Very disappointing, but I hope they don't do anything too kneejerk. I still think we have a very solid core and are a finisher or two away from being an elite team. We have 4 guys that we can be super excited about (Jasking, Rattie, Schwartz, and Tarasenko). Hopefully as they develop we can fill that scoring void.

dmiles has a point; when every single one of the games is a one goal game, anything can happen. Six one-goal games. Just burns me we went up 2-0 and then promptly drop 4 straight. We weren't blown out of the water and obviously were right there in every single game. Could've one won or two more, could've been swept... oh well. That's a wrap folks.

In St. Louis City, I went into 2 bars to find the game being played. 2nd bar was all NBA playoff games on 8 tv's. Found it at the 3rd bar I went to in south city. At the 1st 2 bars nobody even knew the Blues were in the playoffs. This city isn't ready for a cup. Maybe if we put baseball bats in their hands and slapped on some Cardinals jerseys the city might care. I don't blame the ownership. You can't make a profit on anything when there is no demand. Sports radio doesn't even talk hockey in this town. This week they talked more about Rams draft picks than hockey. But hey, it's baseball season and nobody cares about the Blues anymore.

Go crazy chumps...go crazy...

What bars and radio stations do you go/listen to? There's no mistaking that the Cards are more popular than the Blues, but I don't know any sports fans that didn't know the Blues were in the playoffs. In fact, most people I know are more excited about the day that the Blues win the Cup than they are about the Cards winning the WS. And 101 talks about the Bleus fairly often (at least lately).

Not sure what bar you went to...not that it even matters.
St. Louis is a very good hockey city. To question that is insane. You must be new to St. Louis.
Sure, the Cardinals are #1...but it's the best baseball town in the world...so playing 2nd fiddle to the Cardinals doesn't automatically mean nobody cares. Nothing is bigger than the Cardinals in St. Louis. The Cardinals are like the Pope here.

The way St. Louis has supported this franchise with little playoff success in 46 years...yeah, we love our hockey in this town. You can't ever say St. Louis is a fairweather hockey town.
If/when we win a cup, the town will go ballistic. It will be nuts.
