Actually, I don't think Quick will let anything by in this series. :ninja:

after watching 6 games of LA being damn stingy, can anyone really beat these guys?
Blues are a hitting team and they couldnt hang with LA. I have a feeling no one else can either, Eastern Conference included.

Penner said the series against the Blues was the most physical he's ever played in. This is a guy who has won two Cups. The Sharks are a lot of things, but physical ain't one of them.

Just read the NHL recap for game 1. It reads like games 3 thru 6 from round 1. Just replace Sharks with Blues and McClellan with Hitchcock.

Kings are likely going to win the Cup.

Agreed that the series will be over "quick." (har har har)

Disagree nobody can beat these guys. We got to Quick and scored on him. It's not impossible. And quite honestly after a little time to sit back and breathe, I'm pretty impressed with how closely we battled them. Very close, very brutal games. And we don't have a huge offensive threat night and night out the way the Hawks do. I think the Kings will dispatch the Sharks no problem but the Hawks can, and will, beat them.

I think the highly anticipated Hawks v. Pens Stanley Cup Finals will be happening.

I remember last year thinking, that the Kings are going to be a dynasty. Looks like I was right, can't see them losing to anyone(including Baby Crosby's team).

Rafiki Torres gets a six game suspension for being Raffi Torres.

How is he still in the league? Oh yeah Bertuzzi and Tootoo are as well...

And the kings pull off teh surprise buttsecks in the last 1:43 to win, after being down.
This team cheats somehow.

Didn't watch the game...but heard it's more of the same. Kings get outplayed, somehow manage to win.

That was an insane finish in Game 2.

The kings seem to have special powers in the first and last two minutes of the period.

Short series right here.

Idk if Chicago can deal with the physical play for a long series... the Kings may be on their way to returning to the cup final.

Hopefully the Hockey Gods can bestow on St. Louis what they've laid at the feet of the Kings. They can just do no wrong. I saw after the first period that the Sharks were outshooting the Kings 11-4 but trailing by 1 in the first intermission. The stats looked like a readout of games 3-6 in the Blues-Kings series and yet the Kings were still on top. They're just so friggin' good.

The Sharks were handed a bogus delay of game penalty and LA took advantage. It's easy to say that on the outside looking in. If that happened to the Blues, we'd all be crying about it for years.

It didn't look bogus to me.

It's true they were handed the game on a silver platter, but they still had to finish.

The Blues would have botched it.

This.

The "pass" off the keeper's pad to the crashing wing is a play we try every game. Pick a Blues' forward and 7 out of 10 chances they miss the net entirely on this play if they even control the puck well enough to get a shot off in the first place.

The Kings took advantage of their chances and won. It's exactly what other teams haven't been able to do against them.
