Yet another reminder how hopeless it it to be a Blues fan.

I'm sure those Chicago home games will be that much greater to attend.

Once again we get to see two former Blues, Handzus and Mayers, lift the cup. One day, we'll get to see our guys skate the cup while they're still wearing the Bluenote.....

Why'd we get rid of Handzus and Mayers anyway? I loved Handzus when he was a Blue.

2 goals in 17 seconds to win the Cup? Craziness.

The annual parade of Blues hoisting a Cup with other teams sucks enough, it doubly sucks when the sweater they are wearing has a giant Native American on it. Also, the winningest coach in Blues history now has two Cups with one of it's biggest rivals.

They're 2 up on us now...time to play catch up.

After watching the finals I've come to the conclusion that we are nowhere close to winning a cup. We look like an AHL team compared to those guys.

Blues are pretty much terrible compared to those two teams.

Hitch was right at the end of the season. We have a lot of growing to do as a 'team' and what that growth is for each individual is different and varied. I disagree that we are an AHL team compared to these two (that's a knee jerk reaction) but we are a young team and have some things to learn during the upcoming season. Sometimes its amazing how quickly that can happen though through the course of a season or a playoff run. It is incredible to watch the playoffs unfold every year and the ups and downs each team faces, overcome or fall prey to during that time.

Fear not Blues fans. It will happen and I've got my entire pitcher of Kool-Aid ready for next year.
