On this episode, we talk about the NHL’s 30 in 30 preview of the Blues. We’ll also touch on the Evgeni Malkin and Dallas Stars saga. We’ll tell you about a superstar player in the doghouse and another player who deserves mad props. Justin and I will also go over your crazy amount of feedback. All this and more on this edition of Lets Go Blues Radio.
I left movies like Happy Gilmore and Just Friends out because they really aren't hockey movies.

I guarantee me and Dmiles will vote for Mighty Ducks lol.
I actually just re-watched Goon and it was a great movie too.

Haha...I do love my Mighty Ducks, but I chose other. No 'Miracle' on this list? The hockey scenes in that are the most realistic in my opinion. It's the one hockey movie I watch every year leading up to the season. And I mean, c'mon, 'Merica!
But honestly, you can do no wrong with any of these movies. I think Mystery, Alaska is an underrated movie. Not just as a hockey movie, but as a movie in general.

Sorry everyone... please revote. Dmiles reminded me that Miracle needs to be on the list. I added it and it deleted past votes. Sorry!

Can't beat slapshot. It's a classic that no hockey fan can miss.
They brought their fuckin' TOYS with 'em!

What about The Cutting Edge? Does that count?

Mystery, Alaska was a great movie on so many levels. Except that the (Franking) rangers end up winning in the end. But, other than that, it's definitely my favorite on the list.

A lot of these I haven't seen, but I think the best overall movie is Miracle... But Slap Shot is my go-to, I can watch it over and over, plus Paul Newman is the man.

I just listened to the episode posted and realized that I 'corrected' you gents in this thread as well. 'Twas not my intention. My sincerest apologies.
To make up for that, a video that hopefully makes you chuckle.

Has got to be Slapshot, hilarious movie. Also [urlhttp://youtu.be/TkcFx1p4-Cg]"The Rocket" Maurice Richard[/url] is a very good movie, well done movie about one of the greatest scorers of all time.

Still haven't listened to this yet, planning on it later tonight while prepping veggies for an event tomorrow.
I had an interesting discussion with a fellow cook who's a huge hockey fan, but he's from Chicago and we were talking about our D pairings, and we came up with an interesting would-you-rather, but there are three options;
Over the next 5 years, would you rather have Petro-JBow, Seabrook-Keith, or Weber-Jones?

Weber/Jones. Sorry, I know it isn't the answer you wanted. In 5 years, Jones should be a great player.
Would you rather (kinda):
Who wins in a fight: Towel Man or Louie?
