I think we fall in the 101-100 range

The Blues' leading goal scorer will be:
Stewart

The Blues' leading point scorer will be:
Roy...but I honestly have no idea on this one.

The player(s) representing the Blues at the All Star game will be:
Shattenkirk

The Blues will finish _____ in the Central division
2nd

The Blues will make it as far as _______ in the Stanley Cup Playoffs
Conference Finals

David Backes is a shoo-in. Will any other Blues represent team USA at the Olympics?
Shattenkirk. If there is any significant injury or Osh plays out of his mind, he'll make it.

Any other random predictions?
We'll see Rattie at some point in the season. And count me on the 'Schwartz will have a breakout year' train. I want to predict that 'Senko will pot 20, but I just can't go that far yet. Gotta temper expectations.

The Blues will finish with ___ points: 89 POINTS

The Blues' leading goal scorer will be: = JAY BOUWMEESTER (Stewart just signed a contract, he'll be useless until the contract is up)

The Blues' leading point scorer will be: = ALEXANDER STEEN (Seriously, what game are yall watching?)

The player(s) representing the Blues at the All Star game will be: = NONE

The Blues will finish _____ in the Central division = 6TH PLACE

The Blues will make it as far as _______ in the Stanley Cup Playoffs = WE'LL MAKE THE PLAYOFFS. LET'S START WITH THAT.

David Backes is a shoo-in. Will any other Blues represent team USA at the Olympics? SHATTENKIRK (Seriously, how many elite-level players on this club are from the US?)

Any other random predictions?

* Derek Roy proves to be a solid acquisition but not the Elite we're looking for.

* Pietrangelo doesn't live up to the hype and is traded for firepower at the deadline.

* Jaroslav Halak storms back to form, Brian Elliott runs tandem with him and the 1-2 Punch returns, with Jake Allen acting as relief netminder. Netminding isn't a concern til the end of this coming year when Jake Allen WILL be in a Bluenote permanently.

*TJ Oshie is our Comeback Player Of The Year.

*Tarasenko and Jas turn out to be serviceable, productive players but not the powder kegs we were hoping for.

*Jaden Schwartz will turn the corner and catch fire due to nothing else than his hard work and heart. He's the one to watch.

APOD, maybe not Rattie but Jaskin I think is a foregone certainty to make the team out of camp. Apparently Hitch loves the kid and from what I read, it sounds like he's matured and now understands that value of hard work and not taking nights off. With the right linemates, he will make things happen out there.

Oakland, ++ on Schwartz. Kid's gonna be a good one for a long time.

This very well may be true the kid has got some size unlike Rattie who I think needs to bulk up a little, they both have the skill to be on the team now, I'm just not into rushing our rookies. I think thats why Tarasenko got laid out, the NHL is alot more physical than people think it is, not to mention how quick the game has gotten. I say play a couple games, press box a few, play a few, press box a few untill we know they are 100% comfortable.

REALLY agree with your Schwartz and Derek Roy comments. I don't really get the Roy hype that I've read on websites/magazines/media in general. The guy hasn't done crap for a while now. Granted, surrounding someone with the right players can help but it's not like he's going to suddenly turn into Patrick Sharp or something... I don't know. Hope I'm wrong.

I think Allen gets a permanent roster spot by years end. He impressed the hell out of me when I watched him last year (keeping in mind he was a rookie) and he's going to keep going this year and shove out either Halak or Elliot. No question in my mind.

No way we're trading Pietrangelo.

Tarasenko and Jaskin: Well we have next to nothing to really go off of in regards to either of these guys. Time will tell, as it ultimately does, but I'm crossing my fingers. We're overdue as a franchise for a late first/second rounder who actually blossoms into a hell of an NHL player.

Schwartz will have an incredible season (Love the heart).
Halak gets traded sometime before the trade deadline.
Oshie puts together a comeback type of season and is a shootout savior
Roy turns out not to be the "playmaking" cog that we really need but useful.
'Team" dominates over any individual effort for season success.

The Blues will finish with ___ points: 80-90, 91-100, 101-110, 110 or more 91-100. If there was a 95-105 option, I would take that. We'll be very close to 100 IMO.

The Blues' leading goal scorer will be: Stewart

The Blues' leading point scorer will be: Oshie

The player(s) representing the Blues at the All Star game will be: Backes, Stewart, Pietrangelo

The Blues will finish _____ in the Central division 2nd

The Blues will make it as far as _______ in the Stanley Cup Playoffs Conference Finals

David Backes is a shoo-in. Will any other Blues represent team USA at the Olympics? Shattenkirk

Any other random predictions?

-I'm also on the Schwartz breakout year bandwagon.
-Pietrangelo doesn't miss any regular season time due to a holdout and makes us forget about the down year last year. Is a Norris finalist, but doesn't win.
-Stewart builds on last year, offensively anyway.
-Goaltending is great, and none of the 3 are traded midseason.
-Shortly into the season, things click for Tarasenko and he takes off. (That's actually more of a hope than a prediction, but I could see it happening)
