Buying a jersey at Scottrade

Post by ViPeRx007 »

Would this be a dumb idea? What do they usually cost there? I want to get a Schwartz (or Sobotka...or Pietrangelo...or Steen) jersey but I don't know if I'd be better off ordering one somewhere or getting one there...

It's expensive but at least your spending the money supporting the team, instead of a 3rd party store.

Last time I bought a Blues sweater I got it via nhl.com and it took forever and a year to arrive. They sent it from franking Indonesia.

Try coolhockey.com. I bought one from them last year. The quality of the lettering is great and I received mine in less than a week.

Got your note a bit late, F Keenan. I ended up ordering from an old standby: River City Sports. They did one for me a long time ago, back when the "home" uni was white and we had a player named Tkachuck. It seemed to be done nicely so we'll see if they still have it; everything sewn on, etc. As a bonus, the price was one of the best I could find as well (without being "cheap and high quality" levels).

I had completely forgotten about River City Sports until just recently, looking for a Christmas present for my nephew. They were always trustworthy and quick the three or four times I used them. But that was a long time ago, maybe 10 years or so since I last bought from them.
