So we all know the origin of the Blues, but this one cracked me the frank up:

30. SAN JOSE SHARKS

Sharks was chosen from 2300 entries in San Jose's name-the-team contest. The other finalists included Rubber Puckies, Screaming Squids, Salty Dogs, and Blades. Blades was the most popular entry, but ultimately rejected because of its gang implications. When the nickname was chosen, seven shark species made their home in a stretch of the Pacific Ocean off the California coast called The Red Triangle.

How the hell did Rubber Puckies even make it to be a finalist?

That is awesome, maybe from the Mighty Ducks...Rubber Duckies(Mighty ducks fans?)
Edit: I'm an idiot; Ducks established in 93, and Sharks in 91.

I think there's a website with the sole purpose of manipulating online votes to get an obscure option to win. Rubber Puckies has that kind of feel to it.

I actually really like Salty Dogs.

Squids would be pretty cool as well.

Hi guys
As an online user, it's crucial to maintain integrity and fairness in any voting process. If there are suspicions regarding websites like Rubber Puckies being used for manipulating votes to favor obscure options, it raises concerns about the authenticity of the results.free fire name
