Re: Tarasenko Out "At least" Six Weeks

He'll be in game shape when he returns. He can still workout and skate. It's a wrist/hand injury.

The problem is they say he will be "reevaluated" in 6 weeks. That doesn't mean he should be available then, it means they should know at that time how much longer he will be out. So based on that, it will be at least 6 weeks, probably more. Which says wrist or tendon injury to me.

What worries me about wrist injuries is that depending on what it is, it could take a full year to heal 100% from a wrist injury.

If he does come back...and we are still playing, it could be a mini-blessing in disguise, as he will be rested. He showed signs of wear and tear last year later in the year, and he wasn't tearing it up after the olympics.

I'm not too worried about it. It sucks, but this is one of those things that every cup caliber team has to overcome. Happens every year. It would be nice if Jaskin came in and played well...but the guy I want to catch fire is Roy. That would be huge.
