The problem with that is, the Blackhawks would move on...

Hawks look like they could beat almost anyone. It's looking more and more like a New York vs. Chicago Stanley Cup. That's either never happened before or not for many decades!

Boston was better than the Hawks and Montreal was better...I don't see the Rangers getting past the Habs...

Say what?? The Hawks goaltending and defense didn't collapse like Boston did. Habs don't have a Kane/Toews combo. I see the Hawks definitely beating either team in a 7 game series.

NYR/Mon is too close to call.

(Franking) hate the Kings. Can't believe I'm saying this but I'll have to root for Hawks to be taken care of by the Canadiens (cause (Frank) the Rangers, too, just because).

For the 2nd year in a row, I'm ignoring the WCF because I hate these two teams so much.

The (Franking) Blackhawks are going to win another (Franking) Stanley Cup. I hate that team. Nobody is going to beat their b**ch @$$es though. Makes me so mad.

I was at game 1 today - it was fun of course as a Hawks fan. Kings play more of the type of game that the Blues did - physical. Minnesota played more of a trap and clogged up the middle of the ice which gave us some problems. The Kings are dangerous cause they crash the net and are constantly centering the puck to guys who are coming in - we need to adjust and defend better against that. Interesting how every team has its own style and you can see the pros / cons of each.

But the Kings have a major trio of snipers in Gaborik, Richards, and Williams. Not to mention Jeff Carter. Those 1st three are 7-0 in game 7s! The only one on the Blues who can compare is maybe Tarasenko.

The NHL just announced they have cancelled the rest of the playoffs and named the Hawks the champs. The draft will be this weekend.

Or at least maybe they ought to. Nobody Can match the Hawks talent so the only way they can lose is if the other goalie significantly outplays Crawford and he's just not letting that happen. To this point, Crawford deserves the Conn Smythe. How many games this playoff season have the Hawks been outplayed and still won?

Just pick out any game and look at the second period. The hawks got outshot 17-6 yesterday in the second and won the period.

Throughout the regular season we were getting 40+ shots per game. Then it tallied off in March and April. And in the playoffs so far most games we have been outshot by a wide margin. Not sure why that is and I wish we would put the puck on the net more as we sometimes spend too much time trying to look for the perfect pass.

I don't care who wins this series as long as the winner beats the franking Rangers. I'll even do the unthinkable and root for Chicago if I have to. I do NOT want the Rangers winning.

I think the Hawks' opponents have played with 'desperation' and the Hawks haven't because they haven't felt the need to. The Hawks have the ability, if Crawford is on his game, to completely blow for 55 minutes, wake up with 5 minutes left and make a game of it against virtually any team in the league. I don't think there's a team in the West other than the Blues that worried them (and I don't think their worry extended to actually worrying they might lose to the Blues) or anyone other than the Bruins in the East. So they've been taking the attitude that all they need to do to win is show up and so far it hasn't bit them on the backside. At this point, the only two ways I could see them not winning the Cup are;
1) Quick or Lundqvist steals a couple games and the Hawks can't 'flip the switch'
2) somebody runs Crawford and knocks him out of the playoffs.

couple of power play goals in round one and the Blues would be the favorites to win it all right now... we need snipers.
