This means one thing: the return of the Cam Cam, which will now be called the Chris Cam.Portland Blues wrote:It's the ol' Cam Janssen strategy.ViPeRx007 wrote:Does playing for your hometown team somehow make you a better player or something?

I've never really understood the burning of jerseys. You burn old flags to dispose of them respectfully...glen a richter wrote:Bloody hell Stempniak is a Ranger. Time to burn my Stempy sweater, I guess.

I'd cut that bitch up and use it as rags...or TP. Or sew it into a bag and fill it with shit.

what is taking so long to get Schwartz signed?

It's late July, so it seems like it's taking a long time. But the sides didn't really start talking "in earnest," according to Schwartz's agent Wade Arnott until recently. When Doug Armstrong is building the roster, he has to keep some flexibility entering free agency, so he can do things like sign Paul Stastny. Then, Armstrong turned his attention back to Sobotka. Now that that situation has been resolved, not in a good way, he's dealing with Schwartz. Unfortunately for Schwartz, certain things take priority and with him having little leverage, he hasn't been a big priority until now.
