FWIW, he said it was a huge improvement. As we know from a previous thread, however, beauty is in the eye of the beholder when it comes to the ole Blue Note sweater.

As long as we get the stripes back and keep the red out, I'm good.

I saw that tweet and was going to post it when I got home.
He seems to love the new home jersey.
I think we all know what it is going to look like. A more retro look means the horizontal stripes at the bottom are coming back, stripes on the elbows and a slightly lighter blue.
I'm guessing no stripes on the shoulders...but we'll see.

This thread has me geeking out hardcore. I can't wait to see these.

^Something like these would look good just swap the where the two different blues are make the majoity the lighter blue.....and get rid of the shoulder patch.

Same. Some people seem worried about them, but I think everyone knows our latest sweaters aren't that far off. Even with their flaws they're still one of the best in the league, and I don't think I'm being a homer with that comment.

Wish list (same as everyone's, basically): No more piping, a lighter blue and horizontal stripes. I have a feeling that's what they're going to do and it's going to be glorious.

And Viper, I've never been nervous about our jersey re-design. Stillman obviously is a fan and knows the history of the team. I feel like he's got ours and the organization's best interest at heart. I don't mind our current jerseys, but they are too much like every other jersey that was announced when the RBK Edge jerseys came out. The piping is holding us back (not the first time I've said that).

I think Stillman is going to knock it out of the park. I can't wait to see these things.

Swap out the Duck for a Shark and you have the San Jose Sharks jerseys.


Curt: I hope to God it's something simple like that. We shouldn't have anything super fancy.

New Ducks jerseys for 2014-2015. Continuing the trend of a team really liking their third jerseys and then adopting it's concept to the whole template. See, e.g., Kings, Oilers, Blue Jackets, etc.

I kind of like the Blues sweaters... all of them, including the 3rd. I guess this puts me in the minority?

The 3rd has baffled me. When it was first shown, quite a few people on here (myself included), and out in 'hockey world' loved it and considered it one of the best 3rd's in the league. Now, a lot of people on the board have changed their opinion, and those now range from dislike to hate. I don't get it. I know we've probably worn them way too much, but in 82 games, a 3rd jersey is going to get worn. I like them better than our home and away, that's for sure.

I like the 3rd's...but I prefer their home and away. It seems like they wear their 3rd's a lot too.

I don't hate the yellow piping on the current jerseys like a lot of you... I really like the jerseys.

With that said, the home and aways could be better by going with more of a classic look...which is what they said they are doing.

Agree with a lot of you. I like the 3rds, but they are used a lot. I would like a more classic look for the home/aways similar to the one's Curt posted. Can't wait for them to unveil these. Is tomorrow the day for sure? I think I heard that somewhere (probably twitter), but can't place it.

Icethetics said they would have a blog with a mock up tomorrow. Nothing official from the Blues, but you have to wonder if we're getting close in that regard.

On Twitter I asked Icethetics if they're still blue. He said they are. So there's that.
