10....but yeah, need twice that many.
Well ...same shit as game 1. They need a kick in the ass in the locker room. So frustrating. They are so much better than this...but this is just really bad hockey.

That's the tough thing. It's one thing to lose when it looks like they're giving everything but this just looks like crap.
I've expected a little more urgency every game but...
What a bunch of sacks. Just 4 shots in the 1st and 6 shots in the 2nd...that is pathetic. Just fire every puck at net and quit farting around like this is pee-wee hockey. If not for Allen we would be down by 4 or 5 goals. Blues get your head out of your asses...3 in in the third...
Lost puck battles.....botched odd man rushes...these are the Bad Blues.
Parise's line has answered the bell. They have abused 20-12-91. And outside of Ott's well publicized antagonism, Minnesota's 4th line has been superior in every way.
Still a period to go and things can change on a dime in hockey, but we're talking about a significant change.
It's a 7 game series.
2016-2017 LGB sponsor of your boy, goaltender Jake Allen and a center for Vladi Tarasenko (UPDATE: FOUND! Ryan O' Reilly. July 1, 2018).
2017-2018 LGB sponsor of a damn fine rearguard, Capt. Alex Pietrangelo.
2018-2019 LGB sponsor of the 2nd greatest Joel in Blues history, #6 Joel "Eddy" Edmundson.
It's like the Wild have 10 players at all times. We can't make more than 1 or 2 crappy passes before they take it away and set up in the offensive zone for a shot or two.
“It makes no difference what men think of war, said the judge. War endures. As well ask men what they think of stone. War was always here. Before man was, war waited for him. The ultimate trade awaiting its ultimate practitioner. That is the way it was and will be. That way and not some other way.”
I won't start freaking out and screaming to fire Hitch yet. Maybe if they go up 3-1 in the series...

Today, the St. Louis Blues and Ken Hitchcock learned what a REAL "Defense First" system looks like in practice. Not a single Blues player could move an INCH without a green sweater being a foot away from them.
Hitch talked up the "off the rush" chemistry between Steen and Tarasenko at the last post-game....... so, OF COURSE, we proceed to play dump-and-chase like it's Andy Fuckin' Murray's team ALL GAME. Not a single flash of creativity.
Stastny is INVISIBLE, pretty much all series. A literal ZERO across the board. Chris Stewart is turning in a better playoff performance.
At this point, I am pretty sure Hitch isn't kidding when he answers "I don't know" to reporters' questions. He literally does not know. Anything. He has NO IDEA what he's doing or how to motivate this group. They've gotten by on the fact that the team is deep and physical, and that's pretty much it. The line changes have all been completely haphazard.
