I couldn't agree more. After that goal you started to see the half-efforts, the stick checking and just general malaise--and as Bernie said, that is simply unacceptable.I’m still trying to understand how a home team that has so much to play for can be so quickly demoralized by one goal. But that’s exactly what occurred Friday night, when the Blues went in the tank after Minnesota scored the tying goal in the first period.
The Blues had nearly 49 minutes of regulation hockey on the clock, the Scottrade Center crowd was roaring with support, and the night was there for the taking. But the Blues sagged into a state of hockey depression, all because the Wild tied it at 1-1?
