He is day to day.
Will be replaced in the lineup by Upshall or Gomez when they play the Flames Tuesday night.

Hate to say this but perhaps the Blues are better off not signing Fabbri at all. This is not his first (don't have the count) in a pretty short time span. It will only get worse. As good as he might be, too much of a risk in my book.

Bad luck. Porter wasn't aiming for his head. His head was down low, and he didn't see the hit coming. I hope he's only out for 1-2 weeks. I hope Rattie is brought up.

Was thinking the same. It's becoming a bit too much, and its super worrying. At the very least he needs to work on his awareness before spending a full season in the NHL.

Said the exact same thing recently. With the lack of awareness of coming hits we've seen from him, I'm not surprised he's had as string of injuries. As I also said, that will only get worse in the NHL. Guys like Porter get an NHL salary for lining up opponents, all the better if they're skilled.

Count me as one who is more than slightly concerned about his injury tendencies. He's had a slew of them before he even played a minute in the NHL, then he's injured the second game of his career.

Hopefully this is more precautionary than one of those long-term, "David Perron" things.

I know he's had a bunch of injuries, but how many of them were concussions? Is this the first? He had something with his leg or ankle last year, I think.

Don't need a Lindros on this team. Talent wise yes, lettucehead wise, no.

Sure, but we've all learned so much about head injuries recently that if you take a knock to the head, it's better to go check it out. I know that concussions don't always show at first glance, but nonetheless, things are different than just a few years ago.

Maybe not severe, but he's essentially still a 'child', and if i'm not mistaken this is not the first time, so it's a bad sign if we think long term. At this point i'd say he'd be better off spending this season with the wolves, develop an eye for incoming hits, toughen up a little, and get back gloriously. He's got great potential, so i'd rather make sure he is fully ready.

Hope that ends up being true. Perron came back and scored a goal in the Thornton game though, so it may not mean anything that Fabbri played more shifts.
