Ha, I had no idea! Not bad considering I took about a 7 year hiatus. Or pathetic, whichever way you look at it.

Wow!!! What a fantastic play O'Reilly made to make sure Toronto didn't score the winner. And then he takes the puck all the way to the other end and scores the winner!!! He scored the first goal too. He put The Blues on his back, like he's a superstar. Many people say he's not good enough to really be considered as a TRUE #1 centre. Well, I'll take this guy whose hustle and determination make his results the same as the more-skilled 1st Line centres. He definitely should get consideration for The Hart Trophy.

I'm so excited, we were not pretty, but that was such a gutty win against a darn good team.

Awesome win!!!

That play where so many are blaming Petro... If Edmundson just takes his man, as in putting his body on Tavares, instead of reaching with his stick, Eddy doesn't score an own goal on Binnington. No deflection and Binnington probably gets the puck. Multiple defensive failures = goal against.

I really think that something is physically wrong with Pietrangelo. In the last several games he's looked terribly awkward flailing his stick at pucks attempted to be cleared, and not only failed to keep them in, but they went by him when he could easily have been there, or went through him, while he looked like someone with no control of his body. Those were routine plays that ANY NHL defenceman could have, and should have stopped. If there's nothing wrong physically, he must falling asleep for short 1-2 second pauses, JUST when the puck arrives (or suffering Aeschemia (mini couple-second strokes).

Those problems have led to several key losses of possession on power plays, and during key 5 on 5 offensive zone flurries. I JUST don't believe he suddenly gets lazy at those key moments, or suddenly is thinking of his babies. It just doesn't look like lack of desire, discipline or mental errors. He looked spastic on several of those plays. It has happened too many times, and we never really saw this before. I think it has been the problem since the middle of last season.

over came a little adversity and still got the win. Just felt like the D as a group played poorly in the third. On both goals against we failed to make a clearing play and then got hit with a bad bounce. But Binnington bounced back and made that save on the 2-on-1 to secure overtime.

The Blues once again played full-out in The 1st Period to try to build a lead, control the game, and demoralise The Leafs. Unfortunately, they didn't capitalise enough on all their good scoring chances, to build up enough lead to overcome The Leafs' enevitable pushback, which would come, when, and if The Blues would run out of gas. They DID, during the last 3rd of The 2nd Period. They hung on then, with the help a a good late flurry, which got them a power play. But, in The 3rd, not only did they fail to score on The PP, but they had nothing left. They were losing just about ALL the races to the puck, and couldn't clear the puck, whiffing on it, and making weak tosses that were all stopped, or, most often, quick skating got The Leafs' forecheckers there, and quick sticks stole possession away from The Blues, keeping it in The Blues' zone for most of the period. Both goals were scored because The Blues failed to clear the puck, or skate it out on routine plays, because they had nothing left. Luckily, O'Reilly never runs out of energy to give his all, and 3 on 3 he has a lot more room to operate.

I still think Petro's issues are related to raising triplets - none of which are even 1 year old, yet.

You think it's just lack of sleep? He's just going through the motions of playing much of the time. His vision is blurry from fluid in his eyes from lack of sleep?

I'd buy that but I also bet with his $45 million salary he has plenty of domestic help around the house with the kids. If he was just a normal guy working, juggling babies and getting an hour or two of sleep a night he'd probably be an even bigger mess.

And when he's home, wifey wants him helping, not the help. On the road, the help, I'm sure takes up the slack. It would explain why he looks like ass in all the Blues home games, but not so bad in road games.

I really thought after that Leafs 2nd goal "oh God, here we go" and it was just going to be a tidal wave and the Blues were going to lose 5-2 or something.

Glad that didn't happen obviously. O'Reilly is a beast. You can tell he loves the game, enjoys being on this team, and is just shredding it. Hard to overstate his importance on this team all year.

How about Vince Dunn? I already was excited for him this year but now he's throwing his body around and making offensive plays too? Oh buddy. He's getting more comfortable and confident, you can tell. He's been wonderful to watch lately.

So it's his wife's fault? What a battle axe. He probably figures he can stay up all night as long as 90 and 50 are out there. Hell, he screwed up multiple times last night and they still beat one of the more explosive teams in the league. I say change all the diapers you want, f--k it.

For the money he makes, the wife can deal with waking up every night. It’s not like he’s an average Joe with a real job.

You would think, but it's possible he actually wants to take care of the brats while he's there. What a psycho.
