The Blues are 2-4-1 against the Kings? I remember it being bad, but I don't remember it being THAT bad.

I wonder which way the Blues will go here. Will they rest some starters and ease back a bit since their place in the standings is completely set, or will they push hard these last three games in order to make a statement and build momentum going into the first round?

3-4-1 vs the Coyotes...

Only teams the Blues consistently beat were San Jose (5-1-2), Anaheim (5-1-2), and Minnesota (4-1-1 so far)

PROJECTED LINEUP

Forwards

Barbashev - O'Reilly - Perron
Schwartz - Bozak - Schenn
Hoffman - Thomas - Kyrou
Clifford - Joshua - Sanford

Defense

Krug - Faulk
Scandella - Parayko
Walman - Bortuzzo

Goalie

Binnington
That 4th line looks like a disaster waiting to happen with Sanford on it. He just isn't a "checking" forward. Why can't Berube just scratch his butt and stick someone else in there? I don't get it. Hopefully, he plays less than 10 minutes...

And Walman is out - positive Covid test - even though he's vaccinated and already passed a POC test afterwards... so kinda ridiculous to be forced to scratch players for obvious false positive tests.

Not a very interesting or eventful 1st period against one of the weaker teams. Not much of a tune-up for the playoffs, so far. I hope The Blues can pick it up in The 2nd and 3rd, and finally win a game with ease in this end-of -the season phase.

In Mexico, so watching on a stream, but just looks like they are not fully invested in this game. They are just trying not to get hurt before the playoffs.

Still 0-0 after 2

The Blues played only defence for most of The 2nd (and not all that well, at that. I was glad to see them start trying to score during the last 5 minutes. I hope they can keep that up in The 3rd.

The Blues radio guys couldn't seem less interested the last couple of games. They just talked almost 2 straight minutes about Disneyworld while the game was happening. At least our playoff run (no matter how short this year) will be broadcast on national television.
