Nobody covered this here. I think the cops have stopped their investigation since it turned out to be a he said/she said. Not sure.

I believe he got dropped from his Swedish team because of this.

Dang. He always seemed like a mild-mannered guy. Almost too much so, insomuch as he never really made the most of his size.

I remember after the trade to Buffalo, he ended up leaving the NHL due to depression/emotional issues. I guess this is an outgrowth of those deeper issues he was dealing with.

I generally believe all victims because I can't imagine lying about something so serious, but people do sometimes level false accusations. Accusations like that wield enormous power, so they do corrupt people from time to time.
