Is it me, or does it seem like wherever Jim Montgomery goes, whether it's as HC or assistant, his team improves offensively. Consider there was much made of the players Boston is missing to start the season, yet they are 3-0 and averaging over 5 goals/game. It's not like two of three they've faced (WSH and FLA) are considered pushovers.

Landeskog is out for 12 weeks. Big hit for the Avs, but a great opportunity the Blues can hopefully take advantage of.

If anyone wants to see a massively blown icing call - go to 14:20 remaining in the 2nd period of the Rangers-Stars game today. Both Dallas forwards (Pavelski and Robertson) on opposite sides of the net are beyond the Rangers D, but icing is still called. Made no sense. Didn't matter since the Rags didn't score off the ensuing faceoff, but both forwards further up ice than anyone but the goalie and icing is called? Seriously??? Makes me want to post a tweet to Tim Peel, since apparently he watches a ton of hockey and will comment on things that stand out to him.

Robertson-Pavelski-Hintz could wind up taking over as the Production line from Marchand-Bergeron-insert-a-forward. Those three are killing it.

5th goal by the Rags (Gauthier) in Rangers-Stars game - HORRIBLE goaltending. I get coming out to challenge a shooter, but don't get so far out of the net you wind up swimming between the freaking circles. I'd bet if Oettinger weren't out with injury, goal 5 doesn't happen. Basically, Wedgewood demonstrated why he's never been an NHL starter.
And then the Stars completely collapsed defensively on a delayed penalty call when #6 was scored.

Pathetic move by the Bruins signing that Mitchell Miller kid.
