2024 Entry Draft Thread

With the Cup won (LGP), the next big thing is the draft coming up in a few days. Blues have 9 picks at the moment, barring any trades.
Here's my mock, sure to be 100% wrong as always.
1 (16th) - I'd be actively shopping this pick. If they can trade up to get Carter Yakemchuk who I don't think will drop to 16 I'd do it every day and twice on Sundays. If (when) Yakemchuk is gone by 16 I'd be trading down to get a later 1st and an extra 2nd--Anaheim can make that happen. Assuming the Blues keep the pick and don't get Yakemchuk, I'm taking Cole Eiserman
2 (48th) - Blues need RHD in the organization. If they don't get one with #16 they can't wait forever. If he's still there, I'm taking Harrison Brunicke
2 (56th) - Depends on how the first two picks go. If they can get two RHD, I move onto forward John Mustard. If they don't, I'm taking RHD Luca Marrelli.
3 (81st) - Maybe they could get him later, but I'm taking Eemil Vinni here. Zherenko + Ellis may be good, may be great in the future. Will Cranley won't be either and some more depth in goal is always a good idea.
3 (95th) - Big forward Herman Traff out of Sweden here. I don't think Steen will want them to pass on him.
4 (113th) - Caeden Herrington... another RHD. Can't find a ton of stuff on him but we're projecting 5th round here so it's all a crapshoot at this point and another RHD can't hurt.
5 (145th) - Huge center Miroslav Satan... yes, Miroslav Satan's kid. Projecting as a project but the kid has a family history and he's 6'7". I'd take a flier and he's probably gone by the next pick since the Blues don't hold a 6th rounder.
7 (209th) - LHD Leo Sundqvist because more D, Sweden and Steen.
7 (211th) - RHD Jack Bodin because even more D, not to mention D on the RH side.
So probably 5 D, 3 forwards and a goalie... sounds about what they should be doing. Of course I'll hit on exactly zero of these but it's still fun to try.
