I'm going to my first game of the year on Sunday, so I'm hoping for a good showing this weekend.

Winning the series is obviously the goal...but sweeping this one would be nice, considering we only took 2 of 4 in SF and blew the 3rd game of the MIL series to only take 2 of 3.

Chicago is playing Pittsburgh
Milwaukee is playing Cincinnati

If we don't do well in this series, two teams may be gaining some ground on us.

Today was a god-awful first day at the ballpark in '08. Pair that with a bad sunburn and you get a not-so-happy dmiles.

I went to today's game too, first one of the season. I actually had a great time because it was my first time sitting in the bleachers and we had tix in the front row behind the Cards bullpen. We got to see McClellan's Coolerscooter and judging by how often players throw balls into that area, the lefties that hit homers there and getting there early for BP you have a good chance of nabbing one after a few visits. I've sat 12 rows off first base before and about 16 off third and those don't compare to these seats. Just wish the rest of the game had been like the ninth when we had some fun! The sunburn didn't really start to hurt until we got to the car, ever since I have been on fire.

Ugh. Not a good way to end a series.

And we just got passed by the Cubs....we're in 2nd place now.
