County people suck..

If you're too afraid to live near black people that you commute all the way out to Affton or Chesterfield or St. Chuck or w/e snow white area, then at least don't flock into our park when we have a festival and flood my neighborhood's streets.

Okay, yes I spent my entire existence in St. Louis but the last month living in the county, but I lived in freakin Normandy and it was for school.. So.. Yeah.. I can still bitch, damnit.

I live where I do because I want my kids to go through the same school district that I did. I lived in many different areas before I had kids, never even thought about blacks, mexicans, asians, middle easterns, indians, etc. The only thing you have to fear . . .

1) I'm in the educational industry not sheep shearing, I doubt there'll be too many mexicans taking over any time soon.

2) Mine fields, sniper towers & maybe even an 'open season' would curb the influx.

3) Revert all instructions & user manuals back to english only.

4) Hope that the mexicans are educated like Sanscrit, not like the ones living with 23 of their family members in a 1 bedroom apartment in Bridgeton, going to Schnucks every day, filling a shopping cart while eating, and then 'remembering' that their wallet/purse is in the 'car' while at the checkout lane.

5) Mowing our own yards.

I happened across an old videotape at my parents' house this past weekend that contained some Ch. 5 special about sports highlights of 1987. Turns out Mel was on the ice for Ron Hextall's 1st goal ever scored by a goalie (where he intentionally directed it into the opposition's net, not a flukey one like a goal Brodeur was credited with a few years back because he was the last Devil to touch the puck, even though it was directed into his own net by John LeClair).

It was weird seeing Nordique and Whaler (including one featuring Ron Francis) highlights, too.

I can see the correlation when I notice that stores have quit carrying Edy's Slow-Churned Pumpkin ice cream and it's not even friggin' Thanksgiving yet. God knows that makes me want to hit somebody.
