I don't think I ever want to see another Rice Krispie treat as long as I live.

We have a full kitchen at work and one of my co-workers just baked some brownies for everyone. Thank goodness they're finally done because the smell was driving us all crazy.

The co-worker that made the brownies just came over, got out a saucepot for no apparent reason, cut off half the remaining brownies in the pan, and then started carrying them both to the building next door. I pointed to the pot and said. "are you making pot brownies now?" He actually laughed.big d note wrote:We have a full kitchen at work and one of my co-workers just baked some brownies for everyone. A shitty gas station with inordinately surly clerks, to boot. They were completely unimpressed with the witty repartee in which we attempted to engage them.STL JA wrote:Some shitty gas station by OB Clarks off Brentwood Blvd.Prngr44 wrote:So where do you buy this rice krispy for 4?
I still think that stupid RKT was one of the funniest things I've ever seen, in terms of oversized food products, and I include the nightstick-like Slim Jims we saw a few months ago in Memphis in that statement.

Re: new random observation thread
A jogger spotted a body in the Platte River this morning and the fire department fished it out. When I walked over the bridge they had a big area taped off and the body was still laying there with a white sheet over it. Kinda creepy to see on the way to work. I checked the news site and they don't have any details yet other than it was a male.

Re: new random observation thread
No, but he probably went into the river at a different point. There are 2 bridges immediately upstream that he could've jumped/fallen off of. According to the latest article:
The point where the body was found has a string of rocks across the river that form a shelf/waterfall, so it probably got stuck in the rocks there.Paez said the adult male appeared to have been in the water "for some time."

Why are there bumper stickers that say "save the environment?"
How many of these were made? Inquiring minds want to know.
I know that these things aren't just being bought by Hybrid owners...
