- You could have bought a PC instead of a Mac. That would have saved you at least a few hundred bucks.
- Have a little money automatically taken out of your account each month and put into a savings account. It's so much easier to save money that way. You never miss it.
- Shop at Aldi's
- Don't buy unless things are on sale
- Cancel your cable or at least downgrade packages
- Don't go out to eat as much
- Stop smoking, if you smoke
- Stop drinking, if you drink
- Drink water instead of buying soda
