My glass was probably screwed up or the beer was too cold.
I dunno, marco. After reading some beer sites, I may not understand what "significant lacing" is exactly.
When I've poured Celebrator into a pint glass, it leaves some foam on the side near where the top of the head was and then down the glass somewhat. Is this the correct definition? Maybe it was just a little bit of lacing, I'm not sure. I'm new to this beer snob game.
Yep, Celebrator just left a small ring of foam and most of the time it disappeared right away. With some beers though that stuff will hang around from top to bottom until you rinse the glass out. It's not a big deal for me, more just something to look at.
Although when a beer is lacing very well it is a good indicator you're not drinking out of a dirty glass, but when a beer doesn't lace it doesn't mean the glass is dirty, it could be something else. On some of the reviews some people say the foam clumps in the glass all the way to fizzling out quickly and not amounting to much after the initial pour. So I don't know - but I do know it's a good beer and thanks for recommending it, I'll definitely keep it on my rotation... the Cream Stout however...
the cream stout is a loser eh? Sorry 'bout that. Honestly, I haven't had much experience with stouts so I may not have been the best person to listen to on that one.
I could definitely tell that the Celebrator was a winner though and the reviews I read confirmed that other people were thinking the same. The stuff just blew me away.
I don't think I'll recommend much more until my palate becomes a little more experienced.
happy drinking!
