Think it was random?
Nobody really knows..
Then get this crap off the random observation thread!
I thought a random bullet flying into a 6th floor window was.. umm.. random..

Think, if for a moment, about the essence of random. Can an observation every truly be considered random? An observation requires a thought; or perception of an event. Even if it occurs in a split second it was still a second of time and therefore dwelled upon - the noticing of an event's randomness isn't random at all in theory.

This whole thread is based on a false philosophy.

Every time I hear someone talk about "going green", I set fire to an old-school foam Big Mac container.

Nobody really knows.. Both the buildings on either side of us are tall apartment buildings that are both abandoned. My guess is somethin was going down in the one at that side of the building (one of the Plaza Square apt buildings) such as a drug deal or somethin and a bullet wound up comin at our building.. But who knows.. The person whose cube was hit did have a former client that threatened to kill her a while back and has access to firearms so it could have been intentional, but I doubt he bought a rifle with a scope, steaked out from the building over, took 1 shot, missed, and left.

Was she in her cubical when it happened?

Yeah, she was there.. It's times like these I'm glad my cube is tucked away far from any window.
Wow, that is pretty intense.
Jesus. My cubicle is a straight shot (seriously, no pun intended) down (probably 20 yards or so, though) from a window that is, in turn, lined up directly with a window in the building across the street. I see my reflection in it out of the corner of my eye periodically during the day and it startles me. :ninja:

Also, orange is an ugly color.

Lolz, I'm watching what Court TV has sadly become these days--basically, Girls Gone Wild, but with car chases and men and no boobs--and they just had a chase from St. Ann down the Rock Road on, mentioning how the heroic St. Ann PD saved innocent lives with their quick thinking and decisive actions. Shoot, when I lived there, the only quick thing I saw them do was a Christmas parade at 11 pm down Livingston Ave., going 45 mph on a fire truck with a frantically-waving Santa, performing for a nonexistent audience. Oh, and pulling me over for bullshit reasons, which they seemed to take particular delight in doing.

I'm so tired.. I had a cup of coffee earlier.. Now I'm drinking ice water and trying to wake up.. A second ago I went to grab my water but instead grabbed the hand sanitizer at my desk and started to pick it up to take a drink..

Go ahead and say it.. Somebody's got a case of the Mondays.

I think there was a demo to that with online multiplayer that was huge in my dorm hall in college.. Every month there'd be another online demo we'd all wear out. That was one of the bigger ones.

Good times.

I remember when I bought my genesis back in the day with all my birthday money from my 7th birthday..

When I was in the dorms last year all we played was 2 on 2 nhl 08, we had a Wolpers(name of our dorm) Stanley Cup and everything, pretty cool, I think... CoD 2 was pretty big too I guess.
