Funny true story from my wife's co-worker last night:

They were passing around a Get Well card to sign for a girl they work with who was in the hospital. He asked what was wrong with her, and they didn't know, thought she was sick or something. He wasn't sure what to write in the card, but he always teases her about having too much hip-hop music on her iPod (he listens to rock and metal), so he wrote, "This is what you get for listening to hip-hop. Get well soon!"

When she came back to work yesterday he found out she was in the hospital because her black ex-boyfriend beat the shit out of her.

Tues., Wed., & Thurs: Installed most of our 800 sq. ft. of hardwood flooring
Fri.: Installed cabinets from 9:00-6:00, then installed more hardwood from 6:00-1:00am.
Saturday: Installed more hardwood from 10:30-4:00pm
Sunday: Installed vinyl floor in bathroom (which included laying down thin plywood and applying two primer coats first) from 8:30-3:00, went to a casual wedding reception from 4:00-6:00, then went back out to the house to lay more hardwood from 7:00-midnight.

And I'm still not done. Got about 40 sq. ft. to go...which I am going to try and finish tonight.

Anyway...random observation...this stuff kicked my ass. I have never been more worn out than I was last night. Ugh.

We actually went there to price cabinets and vanities. Meh. Not a great selection and kind of pricey if you ask me. And the salesman was kind of a douche.
We got our master bath double vanity from Norm's Bargain Barn in Shiloh, two other vanities from Lowe's, and our cabinets from Lowe's as well. It's tough to beat Lowe's prices...and you can find some good stuff there.
