Let's Go Blues

I took a dump on top of Pike's Peak a couple days back. Not epic, but it was a glorious sensation.

I was bored and waiting for the bleeding to abate (see bitching thread) and noticed, on reading page 1 of this thread, that I mentioned Darren Puppa in a post. That makes me very happy. Not as happy as pancakes, but pretty damn happy nevertheless.

Oh, and I'm almost through week 1 on the new job...the people there kick so much ass I can't even describe it.

My boss (who's also a big hockey fan but roots for the Avs) found a great deal in a thrift store by his house. They have a blue CCM Blues jersey, size XL, with the tags still on it, unlettered, for 10 bucks! He's going to pick it up for me. It sounds like a replica of the jerseys before the RBKs, which look great.

Hallelujah! I am finished (finally) with jury duty.

I'm getting worried because of my team of 6 folks at work, 3 of them have had jury duty in the last month. I've never had it but it seems to be going around.

Mainly a sexual assault case. Defense was doing a good job up until the point the defendant took the stand. He then testified he was a Red Wings fan and I strangled him to death with my bare hands.

I was acquitted.

How do you like it? I was intrigued, I'll admit, but I just got a Blackberry Curve maybe 2 months ago and I love it very nearly more than life itself.

I couldn't resist the design allure, though, so I compromised and got myself an iPod Touch instead. Go me.
