It's a good thing you're rich... you can afford a whole new wardrobe!

Since I have so much money, I have decided to get an extra geothermal unit just to dry my clothes.

Well, I FINALLY got my new car...well, it's a used car...but new to me.

2005 Jeep Liberty Renegade...Dark Blue
Image
(not my car...but it looks exactly like it)

Got it for about $1500 or so under blue book value.
I really didn't want a car payment, so we paid cash.
The seller still owed on it, so we sent in the payoff amount to Chrysler Financial. And then the title is mailed to us since we made the final payment. Apparently that's how it works...that's what Chrysler Financial told me on the phone. I didn't know it was that easy.
The seller actually sold the car for less than he owed...so he had to give us $700 cash in the deal since the payoff amount was more than we actually bought the car for.

I love this Jeep. Back in the day I owned a Bronco II. It was a POS, but it was fun to drive...and this Jeep reminds me of the fun parts about that Bronco II.

Now I just need a Blues spare tire cover. 8)

as far as I'm concerned, a 2004 model with 115,000 miles on it (Dodge Intrepid, only had it about a year) was brand new as well, so I know the feeling

Nice...but it's not new. It will be four years old in August.

So, actually...I'm so poor...I can only afford a used car.

I drive a 92 Geo Metro to transport my 9 kids from 7 baby mommas. You're a rich asshole. Also you're less important than me because you don't have kids. We all know the importance of a person is measured by how many times they've knocked somebody up.

Ahhh...but I do have a kid...at least one that's on the way.
Our first child is due in September...which is one of the reasons I bought this particular car...that and we got a pretty good deal on it. Oh, and because it gets 18 mpg in the city. That's good, right?

I guess it is.. I mean.. I drive a sedan that gets about 18.. I figure that's good b/c it's a GM and GM keeps saying how they're more fuel efficient than foreign cars. They couldn't be lying.

Caught Morrissey at the Pageant last night. He broke out five or six songs by his former band The Smiths...including How Soon Is Now?

I wouldn't have guessed that you like Morrissey.

The triumvirate of metal is dead.

I am big, big fan of The Smiths, and Morrissey's solo career has produced a lot of great music.

Go listen to Morrissey's Your Arsenal and try not to like it. Great album. I bet it rocks much more than you would expect.

My tastes are a lot broader than metal, always has been. However, not many Smiths discussions come up on this board.

In less than 48 hours me and the wife leave for Destin, Fl. 8)

The only problem is the lack of sleep I will get tomorrow night. I should be asleep when the game starts because we plan on hitting the road around 2AM. But how in the hell do you sleep when you are jacked up about a playoff game and a vacation?!
