I am highly disappointed that there are 14 drunker cities than St. Louis. First we fall off of the top of the "most dangerous" list* and now this. What is this city coming to? :?

*No, I'm not taking the "most dangerous" city list seriously because I don't live in the city, so it doesn't apply to me, etc. etc. etc. :)

I'm assuming they are excluding "college towns"?

I know it says cities but most college towns ARE cities.

I don't get this at all...

That's because jack Adams still lives in KC.

I can't speak for everyone, but I know when he moves back "home" my liver is going to be pissed off at me!

If Jack would get his ass back in STL we'd move up in the ranking, because Jack, MEG, and I can rip shit up...

I think I'm the only reason why we aren't dead last. And yes, I am having a beer as I type this. :D

It is worth noting that Omaha - the former home of Jack is ranked at 97...I DO see a trend here....

You'll never beat Alaska. What else is there to do up there besides go to Aces games, hunt Caribou and get drunk?

I'm not surprised that NYC is so low. We're sophisticated drinkers and stable drunks. Plus all the homeless probably weren't considered when they compiled the list. If they were, we'd have ranked higher.

I'm sure the availability of alternative methods of transportation in NYC (train, cabs) also does a lot to keep DWI's much lower there than a standard midwestern city as well.

Hooray for Denver! And it's not that we have nothing better to do out here. It's just that there's so much great beer to drink!

I think it has more to do with the elevation... right? :)

There's something about the Rockies that just makes Coors mandatory. :)
