Yes I called and asked. They said they raised their premiums around the board for everyone. I did not find out till later when a friend of mine who has Allstate said that his rates did not go up. So they lied to me and I gave them the big FU. Paying 650 vs 840 every six months for the exact same coverage was an easy choice :lol:

Location has a huge effect on car insurance rates, it seems. Not much you can do about it unfortunately. When I lived on the north side of Dallas County in the burbs, I was a long way from downtown but the city still drove my car insurance rates up. I moved a few miles north across the border into Denton County, and my rates went down something like 40%.

My current bitch: why is it all warm and sunny during the week and cold and rainy on the weekends lately? This sucks.

Just a little pet peeve of mine.

Yeah I served in the Marines and I appreciate it when people say "thanks for your service" and so on. But when people say it to servicemembers over Memorial Day takes away what the meaning of Memorial Day is for. Memorial Day is for those who died, not those that are serving or have served. Veterans Day is the day to thank a veteran and those serving.

Didn't have to work today so went out to the bars last night, already had a sober ride lined up so I went a bit overboard. Stayed late, got hammered, passed out.

Wake up today at 3:35. F(cking SUCKS!!! Never in my life have I slept that late for anything, ever. I didn't even have that bad of a hangover! I slept through almost an entire day, I was blown away :evil:
