I lost my money league semifinal fantasy football game by 1.25 pts.

If T.O. would have caught 1 more pass, if Willie Parker would have had a couple decent runs, if I had started Ben Roethlisberger instead of the losery Carson Palmer, if Ferguson would have ran that catch into the endzone instead of giving Adrian Peterson the chance at a 1 yard lame ass TD....

Perhaps this belongs in the bitching thread, but I figure it's about that time of year where people need to bitch about how crappy their fantasy playoffs went.

I lost this week too. $400 prize. The opponent had Tampa Bay and won b/c of Tampa Bay's first kick return for a TD in franchise history.

My opponent had TB as well...it was fun.

His D = 22 pts
Mine = 2

Our prize was $220.

I feel for ya. I will be playing for the 3rd place prize next week, which is money back from buy in ($35). I have Brees and LT. He has Brady. Should be fun.

We had an 18 team league with $35 buy in.
1 QB, 2 WR, 1 RB, 1 WR/TE, 1 K, 1 Def, 5 Bench.

QB: Brees, Young
WR: Smith (Car), Berrian, Northcutt, V Jackson (SD), Ike Hilliard
RB: LT, Turner (SD)
TE: McMichael (had crumpler, pope)
K: Folk (DAL)
DEF: Jax

I'm gonna pre-rank my players after the postseason and again after the draft. and again after the pre-season starts.

Unfortunately only the champion gets $$ in ours. So I'm playing for......nothing pretty much. I'm out $20.

Just curious, what are your pre-ranks? Our league is QB heavy. 6 points for a TD, 1 point for 25 yards passing, and 7 point bonus at 300 yards.

My top 10 looks like this:

Brady
Romo
Manning
LT
Moss
ADP
Westbrook
Brees
Addai
Owens

and at 11, tampa bay

oh, and I think SJax would be a great second round steal. Especially if the Rams draft Jake Long and draft O-Line heavy.

I have a wild card. Where do you put McNabb? If he signs with Chicago, he would be ahead of big ben.

I think I might be slightly confused as to what you are talking about. Are you talking about next season already?

I just listed the top 10 players in my league according to rank for THIS season.

Yeah. I"m talking about next season's draft. We're going to try to get 20 teams (up from 18) for next season with 13 rounds. So, if everyone takes max time and you pick 1st, your 40th pick of the draft doesn't come for 57 minutes.

I am in 6 leagues. 3 of them are money leagues. All in all I put 95 dollars in for the 3 teams. I am out of 2 of the leagues and in on the other. I'll be walking away with about 150ish dollars. Can't complain one bit aboot it. Fantasy football is great!

Yay! I won by less than three points and I'm in my league's championship game... look at my opponent's team... he was number one in the league and so stacked...

I'll be playing in my championship game this coming week.

I squeaked into the playoffs and have been on a tear since.

I just hope they don't yank Favre early since they clinched their bye already.

Thanks to Tony Romo totally sucking balls, I squeaked out a win via tie-breaker (85-85) in round 1 of the playoffs and now sit waiting to play the 1st place game this week. I finished the regular season in 2nd but led the league in points, yet I can't help but think I'm going to get my ass kicked this week and wind up stuck in 2nd place for the season.

THat list isn't as far off as you think... and I bet it's actually based off of Yahoo's standard scoring.

In a standard league... 10 rush/rec yards per point, 6 pt rushing/rec TD, LT is the #1 RB but Westbrook is very close behind him... and those two are far ahead of everyone else. And Ronnie Brown was actually the #1 player in fantasy football when he was injured.

Personally, though, my top 5 right now would be...

Tomlinson
Adrian Peterson
Joseph Addai
Brian Westbrook
Stephen Jackson

I don't take QB's in the first round, so Brady and Manning aren't even on my radar here.
