Three sites to help you find them. They are actually in stock in more than one place in Norfolk, which I found kinda surprising.

I disagree. I enjoy mine quite a bit. People certainly aren't goin ape$hit like this for PS3 and 3-$hitty.
The Wii is fun. It's a nice thing to have at a party as well. It's a crowd pleaser. And the controller is the whole thing. Without that, it's not in high demand like it is. It's genius really. It's a much less powerful system than the PS3 or XBOX360...but it's much more popular.

Speaking of the Xbox...how many of you guys have had troubles with yours?
A friend of mine at Slacker's was telling me around 35% of them have to go "in the shop" because they broke. I also read a blog of a guy who is on his 5th Xbox already because they have all broken. That's crazy.
Yes, everyone I know who has one has theirs "in the shop." Hmmm... release a flawed product knowingly? Let the public do your beta-testing?

Two words for ya:

Micro

Soft
This is the article from M$ which addresses this. This is from July 07.

In short, M$ screwed up and has actually fixed it. If you buy one now, you shouldn't have the problems which were prevalent with the models sold last year. M$ took a 1 billion dollar charge against their profits from last quarter to pay for fixing all the broke units and fixing the plant to make sure it stops happening. They also extended the warranty to three years for all Red Ring of Death failures on already owned units.

FYI - I ain't buying a 360. I'm still looking for a Wii. :)

360's are supposedly fixed with the new Falcon chipset....

But yea, I haven't bought one since my first one red-ringed on me before I even put a game into the thing.

My brother got a Wii a while back and I enjoy it. Yea, it's no PS3 or 360 performance or graphics wise, but that's not what it's about. It's kind of more of a family machine and something everyone can play.

I'm digging my 360, but I made sure I got the Falcon Chipset.

Gamestop was doing reserves for the Wii.....you might be able to catch them on the next reserve run. Check Best Buy Thursdays and Saturdays....from what I hear.
