Just had my new Simmons Beautyrest queen size mattress and boxpsring delivered - and the old crappy Walmart special mattress and boxspring taken away.

Very nice. Me and the misses are updating the bedding situation this spring. I'm hoping by May we have the high end, high dollar stuff in our bed room too. It is our next major purchase.

The first time we went mattress shopping, I had no idea that it dealing with a mattress salesman is like dealing with a car salesman.

It was annoying as hell.

Which is why we went to Sam's. Better mattress, better price, no tricky sales pitches.

Yeah, the furniture, appliance, car... etc... sales experiences can a lot of times be similar, depends on where you go and who you deal with. Sales is sales though, and in a market place full of commodities it is everywhere - somthing you a lot times have to inevitably deal with.

But hey, if I can get a decade+ of great sleep out of it, then so be it.

My mother-in-law sells bedding for a living, I'm not sure what type of mattress we've got all I can remember is that it's a king size. I'd go check but my missus might get pissed if I wake her up it being 2:40am and all

Now that I can afford it, I'm getting a new mattress soon. Haven't even started pricing them, but I have a California King, so I'm sure it isn't gonna be cheap.

My builder tossed a 1 month old king size mattress into the dumpster at my new house because his dog pissed on it. He said there was no way in hell he would sleep on it. Feel free to dumpster dive if a little dog piss doesn't turn you off.

We just got a King size select comfort from my mother in law for Christmas. It's niiiiice.

We've got the Simmons Beautyrest Beecher Village Plush King.

I actually preferred our Cali King Futon but wifey hated it.

This mattress is pretty good though. I prefer a waterbed.

Add blacklights, weed, some booze, and a wannabe hippy stripper slut with a bush the size of Oglethorpe's hairdo and I'll never leave the house.
