Requiem for a Dream

I found that film to be perhaps the most depressing thing I have ever seen. I guess since it's the "most" something, I should give it its due. I just don't understand why people love that film as much as they do. There isn't a single redeemable character as far as I can remember. A horribly depressing film that I cannot endorse, not that you give a crap, of course. Maybe you can shed light on what's good about it.

Yes, J Connelly shows some skin. But a younger and hotter J Connelly shows MORE in The Hot Spot.

I don't really know how to explain why I like that movie except I tend to be that guy that laughs when you are not supposed to be laughing during movies...

I don't get it either.
I've seen it...and I wasn't impressed. I kept waiting for it to get good and it never really did.
Maybe it was built up too much for me.
