I tried to get Charter to give me a new "special deal" or I was going elsewhere like I had done before when my last one expired. The best I could do was $65 for bacic with no high def and no DVR, when I had paid $50 for basic and all the movie chanels. They more or less said, "bye".
I'll list off my ATT bill. U200 package= bacic cable with many more chanels including NFL Network, DVR included, Hi def pack thrown in (normally $10) and 2 non dvr boxes $59. 3.0 mbps broadband $30. $89 total +5.33 taxes= $94.33 total bill

How is the U-Verse DVR? How does it line up to a TiVo?

How big is the non-dvr box? I would need one in the kitchen and size might be an issue.

I just went ahead and signed up for the 6 month intro package for 5MB service.

I talked to a few folks at work and people are paying anywhere from 24.99 to 39.99 after they threatened to cancel after the intro period.

I'm not under any contract.
