Seriously, "super happy" as a name for a color? And we won't even get into the whole "beaver" thing.
Colorful new names for eight crayons
Gone is wild watermelon. Now it will be called awesome.
That's just one of the name changes of eight colors in the Crayola 64 box that was announced earlier today at the Toys R Us in Times Square in New York City.
The newly named colors are aimed at appealing to a new generation of children, more than 20,000 of whom picked the names in an online poll.
The Crayola 64 box made its television debut in 1958 on the Captain Kangaroo Show.
Here are the other old names followed by the new names: laser lemon, super happy; wild tangerine, fun in the sun; screamin' green, giving tree; beaver, bear hug; turquoise blue, happy ever after; hot magenta, famous; orchid, best friends.

Everything went downhill when KoolAid went from "Strawberry" and "Lemon Lime" to things like "Great Bluedini".

My all time favorite KoolAid is/was (do they make it anymore?) Purplesaurus Rex.

I think that was out around the same time as Sharkleberry Fin, so odds are they don't make it anymore. Unfeeling bastards.

kool aid is vile stuff. I liked it as a kid, but now, well, it's just horrible.
I drink 3 basic things: iced tea, fruit juice (real fruit juice, not this shit saturated with sugar and only 3% real juice), and beer. If I could just get the beer out of my routine I'd actually have a healthy diet.
Baby steps.

Dude... beer IS part of healthy diet. Well as long as you don't drink a lot of it. I had a bottle of Hennepin and a bottle of La Fin Du Monde tonight... mmmm.... soothes the mind and the soul.

What? Hey, pass me the best friends. All this is gonna do is further confuse kids when they're trying to learn colors.
