We have a good chance to win both games, but I expect a split.

One more thing. They need to call up Brendan Ryan and send out Rico Washington.

Winning both of these games would make me feel better about losing two of three to SF. That was bad.

Yeah. I don't mind losing a series (even if it is to SF) as long as we can bounce back right after.

Exactly, and that better happen.

Also, Rico Washington was sent down for Russ Springer. :okman:

This is what Bernie had to say on the subject.
Russ Springer has been activated for tonight's game in Milwaukee..

Rico Washington optioned to Memphis...

Cardinals go with the extra arm, at least for a few days... (presumably) until Brendan Ryan is ready...

and/or a deal is made in which the Cardinals peddle a pitcher...

what a goofy ending. it was nice to see izzy finally shut down the ninth without turning it into a soap opera.

Alright..big win. Brian Barton turning that single into a double and leading to the winning run. I love that guy. Seriously...the dude is awesome.

Sloppy game on both sides...but we'll take the win.
Big game Tuesday afternoon.
Afternoon games are nice...that means I get to slingbox the game at work. 8)

I love afternoon games and being able to listen while at work. It just makes the day 100X's better.

Their looks are similar, obviously, but Brian Barton just seems so personality-less, that's the main reason why they remind me of each other.

A guy who writes for insidestl.com on one of their two Cardinals blogs has been calling Barton "Crabman" since he made the team. I say we run with it.
