Friday, May 23, 9:40 CT
STL: Wainwright (3-2, 3.25)
LAD: Lowe (2-4, 5.34)

Saturday, May 24, 9:10 CT
STL: Lohse (3-2, 4.71)
LAD: Penny (5-4, 5.34)

Sunday, May 25, 3:10 CT
STL: Pineiro (2-3, 4.50)
LAD: Billingsley (4-5, 3.76) - Pitching change - Clayton Kershaw (0-0, 0.00) Rookie getting first start.

This should be an interesting series. Only problem, both of the Dodgers starters in the first two games have been struggling recently which has been a bad sign for Cardinals games. Then there is the Pineiro thing with TLR trying to push him to finish 6 innings even when it's clear he isn't pitching well enough to do so. Go CARDS!

Can anyone get STLtoday to start publishing stories about how well future pitchers who face the Cardinals looked "great" throwing the other day, instead of reminding us of how much they've been struggling. It seems like every time the story is published about the struggling pitcher, the Cardinals hitting goes on winter vacation.

So, I heard that after this series, we are done on the West Coast this year?

Weird effin' schedule.

True. There is a series in Arizona in the beginning of October, but that's the only time the Cardinals go West of the central time zone the rest of this season.

18 road games in June is going to be rough.

Cards win 2-1 at 2:36 AM on the East coast.

Yeah! The struggling pitcher curse kind of ended with the Cardinals winning 2 in a row against struggling pitchers. Fortunately, our pitching was just better considering the Cards only scored 6 runs in these past 2 games.

Bring on the rookie today

Regardless of what happens this afternoon, this road trip has been a successful one. Ryan Ludwick continues to be this team's MVP.

Bottom of the fourth, damn it Schumacher...he played that fly ball off the wall absolutely terribly...take off the orange sunglasses, granted, they showed the replay and it hit directly on the top corner of the wall, a hard ball to play, but he should have been anticipating that when it hit the wall that it was going to bounce off :moran: now its 2-1.
