Friday: Braden Looper, RHP (7-4, 5.03) vs. Brian Moehler, RHP (2-2, 4.54), 7:05
Saturday: Adam Wainwright, RHP (5-3, 3.12) vs. Shawn Chacon, RHP (2-1, 4.41), 6:05
Sunday: Kyle Lohse, RHP (6-2, 3.87) vs. Wandy Rodriguez, LHP (2-1, 2.38), 1:05
Only matchup I don't like is the Friday game. With the entire bullpen pitching yesterday, several of them twice, Looper isn't going to have much leeway and he can't pitch past the 5th inning - at least he hasn't performed well in most 6th innings in which he has pitched this season, regardless of pitch count.

Friday's game is a push. I like Saturday, but I worry a little with Sunday's game.

I hate taking 7-0 leads and then getting scared shitless as the Cards threaten to lose. Thank god we held on to win.

Every single damn game. We get out to a lead early, and then don't do squat offensively for the rest of the game and either blow it late or barely hold on.
Why the hell can we always score a few runs in the first few innings, but rarely get anything after that?

It's almost as if they get their one big inning and say, 'Ok, we can win with these few runs'. Well, now that Wellemeyer and Wainwright are possibly going to miss a start or so. They better get many more runs. Our bullpen is gonna be hurtin' after this next week.

Once again only one big inning... it just game later when Wandy imploded with some suspect defense.
Nice close by Franklin striking out the side.

Nice to see Franklin K the side to close out the game. I hope he continues to prove me wrong.
