I'm absolutely getting me one of those when it comes to NY. With 80 miles round trip to work, it'll be a pleasant change to only get gas once every 2 months.

AND...at the rate fuel prices are escalating, you'll have that bad boy paid off in about a year with the tax break!

If I was wearing anything other than a Stormtrooper costume while driving that thing I'd feel like a complete horse's ass.

I don't care what that site says about the safety, there's no way that thing would be safe in a high speed collision.

Do they even issue a 0 star rating for crash tests?
Looks like a death trap to me.

If that ever hits the open market, I would buy one, assuming it is reasonably priced. It has to be safer than a motorcycle.

Just about anything is safer than a motorcycle.

A lot of negative reactions to the Aptera, but I can't imagine it would be anywhere near as dangerous as being on a motorcycle with an 18 wheeler bearing down on you. People spend too much time complaining and lecturing about how dangerous the smaller cars are, and then they'll go out for a ride on their hog.
