Netflix killing extra queues to "improve" service

There's an online petition to save this functionality. I don't know how much good it will do but, on principle, I fail to see how removing this functionality will "improve" the service. Unless they are simply talking about page load times or something mundane like that.

When you're talking about improving a website, page load times are far from mundane...they're the driving force.

After everyone complained, Netflix decided to keep profiles. So this is a non-story.
