Friday, June 20 STL Kyle Lohse, RHP (8-2, 3.77) @ BOS Tim Wakefield, RHP (4-4, 4.19) 6:05 PM
Saturday, June 21 STL Mitchell Boggs, RHP (1-0, 5.56) @ BOS Daisuke Matsuzaka, RHP (8-0, 2.53) 2:55 PM CT
Sunday, June 22 STL Joel Pineiro, RHP (2-3, 4.02) @ BOS Jon Lester, LHP (6-3, 3.18) 12:35 PM CT

Maybe the road will be kinder than these last 3 games have been. :) Don't like the pitching matchups for Saturday and Sunday at all.

I'm not optimistic about this series. We'll be lucky to get one win.

Considering we were swept by the BoSox 4-0 in the WS in 2004, and our offense has been piss poor lately...yeah, it's nice to take the first game in Boston.

Not enough can be said about how well our starting pitching has been. Even in games where we can't do jack on offense, we always seem to be in the game, if not tied 1-1 or up 2-1.

Wow! We come out of the gates with 8 early runs. Now we must continue to score because of this potent Boston offense.

Cards pitching was good today. Boggs had a bad 2nd and made one mistake to Drew. Other than that, the potent Red Sox offense looked like the Cards playing the Royals.

Another series win! (and only the 2nd time the Sox have lost a series at home this season).

Keep on underestimating the Cards folks. It's still amazing how well the Cards play against good teams, yet struggle to beat last place teams - like Pittsburgh and KC.

How awesome would it be to whip out the brooms after that setback with the Royals?

Jesus Christ, I wish these announcers would STFU about how spectacular Fenway is. If it had a cock, Frank Cusamano would be juggling its balls with his tongue right now.

Yeah it's parallel to the Wrigley jack-off fest but they don't go there too often so they gotta squeeze it in all at once.

OMG I wanna stab Dave Duncan just watching Perez throw about 300 balls in a row and not taking him out.

It's amazing when TLR makes an asinine decision and it works out.

Which decision are you referring to?

Putting a bat in Adam Kennedy's hands with the game on the line.

Worked out for him..

I'm more just annoyed how much Ankiel was trying to be the hero a bit too much. Both 9th and 10th innings he goes up and tries to smash every single pitch of course striking out both times

There's another one for you OS.. GW run on 3rd and they pitch to Drew.. And strike him out.
