Here is a link to a photo on stltoday.com's site.
http://stltoday.mycapture.com/mycapture ... tegoryID=0
It's a photo that shows an area devastated by the floods and a sad woman in a boat.
Under the photo, on stltoday's site, is an order form where you can get that image put on a coffee mug, mouse pads, t-shirts, photo key tag, tote bag, etc.
I am sure they make money from each item sold.
Somebody dropped the ball at stltoday. No way should they be tastelessly offering tragic photos of the flood and victims of the flood on t-shirts for profit.
Idiots.

Why shouldn't they? They appear to own the copyright to the photo. It doesn't look like this woman is a victim of the flood, though maybe a friend of hers is. I wouldn't want that picture on anything I own, but it's likely an automated system of some sort that is available for all Post-Dispatch pictures online.
Is Curt Price tastelessly offering tragic phots of Vladi in his wheelchair on the Internet for profit?

I realize it's all part of their photo gallery software, or at least something that has been integrated into it.
And unless they actually took the photo, they do not own the copyright...unless there is something in the fine print on the site that says any photo uploaded to stltoday.com becomes the property of the Post Dispatch...which may very well be the case.
But at any rate, it's weird to be offering to sell items with the flood photos on them.
And no...I have nothing for sale with Vladi in a wheelchair slapped on it.
