The gas is sealed inside the tv's...not up in the atmosphere.

Levels of this gas in the atmosphere have not been measured

So how do they know it is accelerating global warming if they don't know how much is up there?

We haven't observed it in the atmosphere. It's probably there in very low concentrations

So let me get this straight...
1) They haven't measured the levels of this gas in the atmosphere
2) Without knowing how much is up there, it's impossible to tell what effect (if any) the gas is having on the climate.
3) They say if there is any of this gas up there, it's probably a very small amount.



I think they need to do some more research.

Water vapor is a worse greenhouse gas than carbon dioxide. 17,000 times worse? Not quite, but it is worse.

Well then we obviously need to ban the use of water.
