Cards n Brew crew

7/21 Mcclung vs. Pineiro
7/22
7/23
7/24

I may not know how to look up the pitching matchups, but nobody started it anyways...

I think 2/3 in this one is mandatory. (Frank) Milwaukee's league-changing ass. I want a sweep.

2/3 would be bad in a 4 game series.

We really need to take the first two games of this series, because the last two games are going to be very tough to win.

I'm going to the game tonight, which means you can expect a 6 run loss. I've been to two games this year, each time the Cardinals starting pitcher has given up 6 runs in one inning, and the Cardinals have lost by 6.

So...yeah...I'm sorry everybody. It'll be my fault.

To look the probable pitchers up, go to the mlb.com Cardinals site and right under the pitchers pictures is a Probable Pitchers link. That's all I've been using. :)

The Sabathia - Looper matchup doesn't look very promising considering the way the Cards don't hit lefties and Looper's recent outing. Hopefully, he'll have enough rest to be effective.

Looper is up and down. So, that means his next start should be a good one.

With as hot as the Brewers have been, I'd be very happy with a split...unless of course they win the first two...then I'll be pissed they couldn't win one of the last two.

We're playing well, and we're at home. I'll take it. It should be a good series.

As far as the other divisions go, it's the East that's beginning to knock on the wildcard door with the Philles, Mets and Marlins all basically tied for the lead and at 52+ wins. All it takes is the Central slipping - which we hope the Scrubs keep doing - and one of them could sneak in. The West only matters to the West this season - since it's win the division or go home.

Looking forward to this Brewers series to see if the Brew crews trades make a difference. The Brewers did take the Cards 3-1 in the last 4 game set, so it's time for some payback. Hopefully, the Cardinals offense keeps going instead of only scoring 3 runs per game in 3 of the 4 like last time.

Good job Franklin. We tie it in the 9th and your stupid ass gives up 3 in the 10th.

I have a feeling we lose 3 of 4 in this series.

We take an early 3-0 lead and don't add on. This hurt us!

Blowing 2 leads late to the Brewers is killing me.

Tony left Lohse in to long because of our shitty bullpen. Who can blame him?

Didn't you hear the press conference? TLR says it's not the bullpen's fault... we should have scored more runs........ :?

The score more run things is definitely needed.

Cards have played 9 games against the Brewers with a 3-6 record. In all 6 losses, the Cardinals scored exactly 3 runs. They've got to score more than 3 runs against the Brewers if they expect to win.

Yea, I saw Tony going nuts on the media about the bullpen on ESPN. The bullpen has sucked and it's also the fact that we aren't scoring enough runs against the better teams.

Does anyone thing we win a game this series?

Brewers should never have a problem hitting the ball- so you're right there- usually you have to beat us by going into a slugfest with us. The times where the Brews have been screwed this year is when its come down to the wire and our bullpen couldn't get it done. Lately, that hasn't been so bad and starters like Sabathia are playing full games so its also helping out.
