If I hear the phrase "Manny being Manny" during any of the telecasts of the series, I'm going to flip the fack out. That phrase has long played out.

Note to pitchers.

With bases full, don't try to sneak a first-pitch fastball past Pujols.

That is all.

Chris Perez - Closer. Or should be for the foreseeable future. The slider Dunc and TLR were asking Perez to work on was clearly evident when he struck out Kemp.

Nice slam by AP with the back-2-back HR from Ludwick. Luddy can't let AP win the MVP without stealing some votes :)

I've been saying Perez should have been the closer for weeks now.
He finally gets his chance...and whatdoyouknow?

He has dominant stuff...let's hope he pitches well enough to keep the job. It would fill a huge hole on this team...and we all know this team isn't going anywhere without a good closer.
