I liked NHL 08 better. NHL 09 is borderline slow on the transitions from gameplay to celebrations, etc. Also, it's wildly unrealistic. Cam Janssen scored on a slick wrist shot from the slot in my first game

Does anybody know if it's possible for 2 players, both with live accounts to play NHL 09 on 1 360 console? If so, how would one go about doing so? Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Don't you only "login" with 1 account but can play more than 1 player on the same team?

there shouldn't be an issue here. Just have each user log into their respective XBL accounts. Just go to the XBL portion of the NHL 09 menu and play a game. You can't play Be A Pro with two accounts at once but you should be able to play standard online play. Although I've never tried it so I can't say for sure...

another nhl 09 question here...(but on PS3)
is it possible to play online with a friend on the same team? i could only figure out how to play versus them. The only team games i could play the player seemed to be randomly selected, although you could narrow down the selection of people but you couldn't choose who to play with... note i am playing on the ps3, but i am hoping it's relatively the same...
so, if it is really easy to do this on the 360, then it must not be that easy on the ps3... or at least i am not smart enough to figure it out.

Tried that but might be doing something wrong.

Also - Anybody know of any leagues with some action? There's never anybody playing in the LGB league.

I could also use a new team to play on as well in addition to.

I tried to play you last night, but my Xbox Live was giving me many problems.

Okay I have this game on PS3 now.. Just did my first online game.. Beat some kid 1-0 with 8 seconds left in overtime.
