I heard on the radio the other day that texting while driving slows your reaction time by 35%. I think the numbers for under ifluence of pot was 20% and .08 bac was 12%. Something like that. Texting was way higher in any case.

Ya don't think they possibly got a cross section of people, all sober and clean. Tested. averaged. Arrived at a baseline score. then, same number of people, each drink enough to blow .08. Same. Then, same amount of people, each smoking enough weed to have a certain thc level, and do same tests. No, dude. It can't be that scientific. I dunno, I would say being stoned hard would be more impairment than a measly 0.08 BAC. Now the 18 beers thing, no way being stoned is more dangerous than downing 3/4ths of a case of beer. But either way this whole 20% thing doesn't tie into how stoned someone is. (<< Preposition beatches!) Whereas the 12% at least is tied to a 0.08 BAC. I wonder what the reaction time is when you reach a 0.20 BAC?

I'm 45 (Franking) years old and started smoking weed when I was about 10, so I think I know a thing or two about it, ok? Haven't for about 10 years though. Why? Because I can't function at all. I could drive fine with 15 beers in me, but can't keep my mind in 1 place on weed to save my life.
