My wife and I welcomed our first daughter and second child into the world yesterday.
Now if she would eat maybe we could go home.

Awesome! My son just turned 11 months old. It seems like a long time ago already that he was born and so tiny.

Just a warning to go along with my 6 year old son, I have a 4 year old daughter. Much harder to raise them and it's only been 4 years.
With that said, I'm sure you will cherish your daughter as do I.

Ha...Thanks everyone. She's finally started to root and drink her baba...so hopefully tomorrow we can get outta here.
Could be worse though...our room is huge and comfortable.

Yep. And you learn to not punch them in the face when normally if somebody did that you would.

the first time our firstborn got me, I was changing him and up came the fountain of pee...I wasn't expecting it so I just stood there for a second and then sort of laughed. Then the phone rang and a split second after that, he blasted a huge shart across the changing table and all over my hand. I look down at him and he was just laughing and smiling at me. I'll never forget that moment.
My daughter has never gotten me...YET, and our newborn has peed on me once but I've avoided the poop blasts so far.
