Is Lacuna Coil any good? I think Cristina Scabbia is a great singer and really fukken hott (duh).

Thoughts on other bands in the genre? Is Type O Negative considered goth metal?

Goth metal is kind of a vague term, as it encompasses bands from a lot of other genres. Hit or miss with the bands though.

Lacuna Coil blows. She may be a great singer, but that band is the sonic equivalent of seal clubbing. She also ruined a Megadeth song, so she has that going ofr her.

I'd consider Type O Negative a goth metal band, and some other notable bands of the genre are Tiamat, Paradise Lost, and, my favorite of the genre, My Dying Bride.

Well, I've heard two songs I really like by them and I dislike Megadeth, so that's a bonus!

I hate Lacuna Coil because they always f*** up internet searches for the band Coil, which is actually good.
